How to Set Up and Link Your SideSwap Wallet with STOKR

Download the SideSwap Wallet

Head on to the SideSwap wallet website. Depending on your device, choose to download the Mobile or Desktop wallet. For this guide, we'll focus on the Desktop wallet.

Choose Your Device

SideSwap supports various platforms including Windows, Mac, and Linux. Select the appropriate version for your device and proceed with the installation.

Setting Up Your Wallet

If you're new to SideSwap, click on the ‘Create New Wallet’ option.

Accept the terms and conditions of SideSwap by clicking to 'I Agree'. 

You'll be directed to the 'Set a Pin' page. Confirm by clicking ‘Yes’ and set your desired pin. This will be crucial for accessing your wallet, so make sure it's something you can remember but also secure.

Backup Your Wallet

After setting your pin, you'll be taken to a page prompting you to backup your wallet. It's highly recommended to backup your wallet immediately. Remember, you hold the private keys of your blockchain wallet, and it's essential to keep them safe. If you're not ready to back up just yet, click 'Not Now' as SideSwap does provide an option to do it later.

But don't forget!

Locate Your AMP ID

Once inside your wallet, look at the top to find your AMP ID and copy this AMP ID. 

In case you click 'Not Now' above, you will see at the top right corner and find your AMP ID. Copy this AMP ID.

Linking to STOKR

With your AMP ID copied, head over to the STOKR Liquid Address registration page and paste your AMP ID in the designated field, shown below. 

In case you have closed your STOKR page, please follow this link which will direct you to your investor dashboard to register your Liquid Address.
