Why was my KYC application rejected?

Our compliance team works hard to make sure every profile that registers on our platform is carefully examined. It will make things easier if documents from the user's end is in proper order.

When doing the KYC application while you register your account on STOKR, please make sure your documents (identity card or passport) are legible and easy to read. This tends to be a common issue and reason applications get rejected as our team simply cannot clearly read the documents submitted in the application.

During the face verification process, try to keep your head in the centred in the window of the camera. The bots in the KYC program will usually tell you to retake the pictures if something isn't clear, but there is some discretion required by the user to make sure everything submitted is clear and legible.

We will not reject you without reason. If your application was rejected, expect to see a follow up email from our compliance team explaining the issue. Please reach out to  compliance@stokr.io if you have any other specific questions about the KYC process.
