Signing up as an investor on STOKR is a breeze. Here are a few quick tips to ensure a smooth registration process:
- Have your ID ready: For individual investors, keep your passport or photo ID handy.
- Use a device that has a built-in camera for facial recognition.
- Browser recommendations: To optimize your experience, we recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox for setting up and using your STOKR account.
These simple steps will ensure a seamless registration process and get you started on your investment journey with STOKR!
1. Create an investor account
Click "Create Account" and enter your email and password. Click on the blue "Confirm Email" button to get started. You will then receive a confirmation email to activate your account (check spam too!).
A) Register as a legal entity.
Type the name of the Legal Entity and continue with the account set-up.
Legal Entities will receive an email from the STOKR compliance team regarding the documents required for the KYC. Our compliance team will request all the documents over email.
B) Register as an individual
The following steps are only for the individual investors.
1. Choose your residency. Depending on where you live you will have different investment options.
2. Identity Verification. Click on "Verify Identity" and follow the on-screen instructions.
Uploading your documents is easy! Just scan them with your phone's camera and we'll take care of the rest.
Please note that a driving license is not considered as a valid ID for the KYC purpose on STOKR.
3. Provide your tax id.
Some offerings require you to provide your tax id before being able to invest.
4. Register your Liquid Securities account
To invest on STOKR, you'll need a secure digital wallet.
We require all users to download either one of Sideswap wallet or Blockstream's Green Wallet for us to deposit future security tokens into.
Copy the liquid address which is called AMP ID starting with the letters 'GA' from your wallet and register here.

5. Complete a risk questionnaire
Just so you understand that there are risks with investing, especially if you are new to this, we want you to take a quick questionnaire so you are fully prepared.
Read the introductory text and then begin reading each consideration carefully, then check the box in each prompt before moving on to the next.
